- Background: Before coming to the past, she was a 25 year old American physics student, interested in science fiction and fantasy, including role playing games.
- Summary: When she came to the past, she found herself in a hospital after saving the life of a man. She slowly adapted to her new situation, although constantly haunted by her prophesied future.
- Background: He was a 23 year old American when coming through the wormhole. He was an unemployed former aerospace engineering student who was also an active gamer and science fiction and fantasy fan. He is also Jennifer's brother.
- Summary: Nick arrived at the clearing before Jennifer and was kidnapped by Sergey's attackers. He was later found to have been recruited by the mafia. [He is a minor character in Sonya's story, although I have notes for his story if anyone wants to put it together.]
Joshua Ross Walton (Josh)
- Background: He was a 20 year old student of material science, a mixed race, middle class American, and gamer and science fiction fan.
Meagan Theresa Lowry
- Background: She knew Jennifer when she was another physics student. She was around 27 years old when she ended up going back in time.
Sergey Andreyevich Yashin / Sergey Andreyevich Volkov (Seryozha)
- Summery: He is the KGB agent Jennifer rescued in the clearing outside Yakutia.
Ivan Savvich Kurnakov
- Summery: He is the KGB agent assigned to deal with Jennifer when she was first found.
Tamara Ayaalovna Oreshkina
- Summery: She is the Soviet doctor and Sakha shaman with which Jennifer interacts.
Larisa Igorovna Yashina (Lara)
- Summery: She is Sergey's former wife of Sakha decent.
Lyudmila Viktorovna Bashirova
- Summery: She is Larisa's mother.
